Review: The Hudson

The Hudson is a new little gastropub just a few blocks from where I live that took over the space that was previously Boulevard.

The restaurant is in a little bungalow that resembles a railway car, and that's appropriate since it sits on what used to be the former West Hollywood rail station--and there's even a piece of track right outside!

The atmosphere is still casual and charming--with a long open space punctuated by trees growing through the floor. It feels like you're having a drink in a treehouse. The pub grub isn't so much of a draw, and you won't find anything terribly special on the menu, but the drinks are big and strong, and at only $10, they're something of a bargain for the area.
