Chef Michael Cimarusti is one of LA's best-known chefs thanks to the great meals he makes at his fine-dining Melrose restaurant, Providence, but this summer, he opened up an upscale ode to the seafood shacks of his New England youth called Connie & Ted's after his grandparents.
It's right in the heart of West Hollywood and it's dining room and outdoor deck are already packed every night thanks to the delicious array of seafood, fish and other New England classics on the menu, not to mention an inventive cocktail menu and some decent wines. This is definitely one of the most exciting openings in town lately, so I covered it for Frontiers.
